Hey yall. I'm very new to this forum, although I have been lurking for a while. With my current workout, I'm doing legs twice a week (Tuesday and Friday).

After last week's Tuesday workout, I noticed that my knees were hurting pretty badly when I was walking down stairs, bending down to pick something up, etc. I had to skip Friday's workout because of a weekend trip, so I didn't do legs. Well yesterday (Tuesday), I did my legs workout again, and while my knees didn't necessarily hurt during my workout, they are definitely hurting now. My school offers free visits to an athletic trainer, so I've made an appointment for Friday afternoon to have everything checked out.

I guess my question is, should I do legs Friday morning, or should I skip the workout? I absolutely hate to skip workouts, and plus, my spring break is in 3 weeks so I want to look as best as I possibly can. However, I don't want to keep screwing up my knee if something really is wrong.

Have any of you experienced knee pain from your leg workouts? Is it something that you just have to suck up and deal with, or have you had to take breaks from your leg workouts?
