Once you begin regularly exercising, you will see your waist line diminish as you lose the extra fat. If you enjoy walking, biking, weight training, or perhaps swimming, you will probably want to even add a few more minutes to your daily workout plan. The most important thing to remember is to just begin! Make a real effort to set aside that small portion of your day only for you and your exercise program. You will like what you see in the mirror more and more as you shed the excess pounds.

Diseases are avoided by regularly exercising. It’s proven that cardiovascular diseases, many forms of cancer, diabetes II, and strokes can be prevented thanks to just a few minutes a day of exercise.  It’s also been verified that if any of these diseases is contracted, once exercise is incorporated with treatment, a person’s health not only improves, but at times, the disease is totally healed.  Also, there are other benefits, such as a lower HDL cholesterol level, triglyceride level, and blood pressure.  Prostate cancer in men, breast and uterus cancer for women are also less risk from regular exercise.  This is all the more reason to begin exercising now.

Exercise improves your mental state.  If you can exercise at least 12 minutes a day, it’s been shown from research that chemicals are released into your body called endorphins, which eliminate depression.  They can even make you feel elated!  Another chemical released is serotonin, which gives you a sense of well-being and even benefits your sleep.

These are only several of many reasons to start that exercise routine of some kind today.  You deserve that ten to fifteen minutes each day for your regular physical activity. You owe yourself lifetime fitness, which will improve the quality of your life, and add many years to it.
