This crunchy savory snack tastes delicious on a salad, or all by itself. Garam Masala gives them the perfect kick, now you can snack guilt free! It takes about an hour and a half to prepare, and makes three cups.

Serving size: 1/4 cup
Ingredients:
Four 15 oz cans of Organic chickpeas, or garbanzos, rinsed and drained.
Two tsp of garam masala
Spray olive oil
One tsp sea salt
Directions:
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Roll the chickpeas, or garbanzos, in batches between clean towels for blot drying. Then remove the paper-thin skins. Split the chickpeas between 2 rimmed baking sheets. Lightly spray beans with olive oil spray, mix one teaspoon of garam masala, and ½ teaspoon salt. Sprinkle mixture evenly in each pan.
2. Stir occasionally while baking the chickpeas for about 80 minutes, until the garbanzos are completely crispy. It’s best served at room temperature of warm.
You can make the Roasted Chickpeas with Garam Masala a week ahead if you keep it chilled in an airtight container. Total recipe time is about one hour and a half.
