There’s no need to suffer with craving those high-priced snacks while waiting for your flight at the airport, or trekking across country to a vacation destination. What better way to occupy your time than to eat healthy snacks that you so thoughtfully packed! Have lots of flavonoid-packed vegetables and fruits to pass the time. Save some bucks from all that tempting spending at the airport convenience snack bars while you’re at it. Remember, you can still have that one meal a day to enjoy decadent cuisine once you arrive at your vacation spot.

Stay hydrated


It’s essential to stay hydrated throughout your travel to and from your destination, as well as during your entire pleasurable vacation. It’s especially important to drink plenty of water if you’re imbibing in alcohol during your vacation. Be sure to drink a glass of water for every alcoholic drink. That one-to-one ratio will help prevent that hangover the next morning, and will help control drinking in excess while having a good time. It will also keep your system cleansed of any excess sugar and sodium from any decadent meals.
